I really don’t like being a harsh person. I really don’t. I’m pretty easygoing and like to give everyone chances. But when criticism is due, it will be received. Criticism is what gets us to self-reflect and improve ourselves in life after all. With that said, this game is what you call a train wreck. The controls are so awful. The sounds and music physically hurt my ears. This is supposed to be a kids' game. I’m a grown adult woman, and I had no idea for the first few minutes what my goals were or where I was supposed to go. Turns out you have to find the little creatures that Ursula had turned from mermaids, just like from the movie. Then you face a stage boss, and the first boss was really difficult. I just spammed my projectiles and hoped for the best. Then on the second stage I got lost. I just gave up by this point. What is insulting is that this is supposed to be a game targeted to young girls. Like, really? This is such a poor quality, cash grabbing product. I would be so upset, if I bought this game during its release. It's that bad!
Do not play this game! If you’re a retro game collector, fine, get it to complete your collection. Otherwise, don’t waste your time with it. If you want a good quality Little Mermaid video game, get the one released by Capcom on the NES / Famicom.
