Alex Kidd is back in Shinobi form. His girlfriend was kidnapped by an evil ninja. A mysterious ninja spirit then grants him the powers of Shinobi to save her and the world! Ok, generic premise, but it’s fine for a Master System platform game. You play of course as Alex with new ninja abilities. Special techniques like spinning and launching yourself off from poles, wall jumping and throwing shurikens. Slice your enemies with your sword and avoid their projectiles.
This game is alright. Alex moves a little fluid, but you can get use to it. Music is fine, nothing spectacular or offensive about it. I would definitely try to complete it during my downtimes. Another win for SEGA's Alex Kidd.
