Alien Storm! The SEGA Arcade Classic. Aliens are attacking and trying to conquer the earth. You are Professional Alien Busters, and humanity’s only hope to stop the extraterrestrial menaces. This is a port for the SEGA Master system. And as an 8-bit Arcade port, it barely gets a passing grade. There’s a lot to be desired here. You move slow and clunky. The aliens often gang up on you, even on normal difficulty. It’s only one player and only two of the three arcade characters are playable. Where’s my buxom alien butt kicking babe at? I’m a girl and I like playing hot girls in my video games. Did the developers think that the boys who bought this in the 90’s would see girls as “Icky”?
Anyways, this port of Alien Storm is, okay. Not spectacular, but I can see 90’s kids enjoying it as a substitute for pumping quarters in the machine. Play it if you’re looking for a retro difficult challenge. Otherwise just play the original Arcade version. I’m sure SEGA has it on one of their many classic compilation releases.
